The Connect Search Team

Toby Coffey
Chief Executive Officer

Toby is responsible for guiding the day-to-day strategy and operational responsibilities of the firm’s Contract, Direct Hire, and Executive Recruitment functions across all offices and divisions. His focus is primarily in the areas of Accounting, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Investment Management, and various other financial roles. Throughout his career, Toby has managed teams of up to 30 recruitment professionals. Prior to entering the recruitment field in 2002, Toby worked in the Consulting arena, where he worked with several Fortune 500 clients, as well as small to medium sized venture capital backed startups. Toby earned a BS in Computer Information Services from Indiana University with a focus in Finance & Accounting.

Meade Kelley
Chief Operating Officer

Meade has worked in the staffing industry since 2005. Throughout his career, Meade has overseen practices specializing in Accounting, Finance, Financial Services, Administrative, and Information Technology staffing. Since the firm’s 2012 inception, Meade has helped lead the contract staffing divisions of Connect Search in addition to managing many of Connect Search’s key business relationships. Meade is currently responsible for the operations and management of the Finance, Accounting, Information Technology and Administrative Contract staffing divisions of the firm.  Meade is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where he earned a BS in Finance.

Tom Fox
Chief Development Officer/President

Tom has been in the staffing industry since 2005, and enjoys building and mentoring teams from the ground up.  Tom most recently launched the company’s third and fourth offices in Madison, Wisconsin and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is passionate about networking and making genuine, sustainable relationships with everyone he meets. Tom created Connect Search’s Volunteer Committee and continues to reiterate to the team how important it is to give back to the community as often as possible. Tom is a native of Wisconsin and recently moved to the Madison area after living in Chicago the last 14 years. Tom earned his BS in Marketing with a minor in Finance from the University of Scranton.

Megan Marker-Milenkov
Chief Strategic Account Officer / President of Information Technology

Megan leads the firm’s business development effort. She has been the top producer in the Information Technology practice at Connect Search since its inception, and she continues to lead the organization in driving revenue production and profitability. Megan has significantly expanded the firm’s customer base along with added diversity to our portfolio of clients which expands beyond our Midwestern office presence. Since 2005, Megan has been working in Information Technology staffing within the United States. She began her career working for a large multi-national staffing company where she hired, trained, developed, and managed sales teams across various offices. Megan is a graduate of the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University where she earned a B.S. in Business Management with Minors in Marketing and Human Resources.

Erin Cook
Chief Advancement Officer / President of Permanent Services

Since 2007, Erin has been in Direct Hire recruiting in the Chicagoland area. She works with top ranked asset managers, mid-market lenders, brokers, private equity and hedge funds.  She also enjoys working with some of the most exciting real estate firms and entrepreneurial start-ups.  Erin is passionate about helping companies build their talent base by hiring motivated, dedicated professionals. As the Director of Permanent Services and Chief Advancement Officer, her main goal is to empower her team to develop successful careers.  She believes that this is a relationship driven business and stands by the golden rule.  She also heads up Diversity and Inclusion efforts at Connect Search.  She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration.

Phil Doyle
Chief Strategic Account Officer / President of Information Technology

Phil leads the firm’s business development efforts along with Megan Milenkov. He is responsible for directing the service execution on the firm’s largest strategic accounts across all verticals. Prior to Connect Search, Phil worked over 10 years at a large publicly traded staffing firm where he was a Senior Manager and Market Manager for the Midwest Region and supervised a large team of IT Business Development/Recruitment professionals. He has been instrumental in help launching Connect Search’s Strategic Account practice, which focuses primarily on the firm’s largest 20 accounts. Phil is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, where he earned a degree in English.

Ben Hirsh
President Direct Hire Placement

Ben Hirsh has been in the Recruitment industry for over 10 years. In that time Ben has had experience in managing and growing multiple markets, as well as multiple divisions in those markets.  Ben began his career with a Global Staffing firm holding a variety of positions in Production & Management.  He was also recognized 6 times as a Top Producer companywide.  On a personal level Ben has been involved in over 3200 successful contract placements and over 1,000 permanent positions. Ben attributes his success to his ability to connect with candidates & clients outside of just a transactional level, and the ability to introduce and provide the enterprise solutions to clients and candidates.  Ben’s areas of focus span across all industries primarily in the Corporate Accounting & Corporate Finance space.  Ben graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance.
